What is your role at Aqueous, and what does that involve on a day-to-day basis?

My role at Aqueous is an SEO Specialist. I'm currently studying a degree-apprenticeship in partnership with Manchester Metropolitan University in Digital Marketing, so my role involves learning and becoming skilled in SEO with the help of the team.

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

A businessman.

To be an amazing cook so I could finally make a meal for my mother.

What is your role at Aqueous and what does that involve on a day-to-day basis?

My role is SEO Account Manager, and it involves taking care of our clients, making sure they are always kept up to date with progress assisting them in any way I can through the process.

If you had to delete all but 3 apps from your phone, which ones would you keep?

WhatsApp would probably be the first one that I’d keep, so I can stay in contact with my family and friends. The second would be my kindle app, because books are life, and I can’t live without them. The third would be Spotify because who can survive without their favourite tunes!

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I always wanted to be an oil painter of vast skyscapes on large canvasses. I was always attracted to the technical challenge of capturing light and colour.

Who’s your favourite cartoon character?

Stewie from Family Guy. A fully articulate, narcissistic baby who has a passion for world domination and is best friends with a dog? I don’t know who came up with the idea for the character, but it works.

What was the last song you listened to?

Paolo Nutini, Writer. A simple, underrated love song that Spotify kindly chose for me last night. The song surpasses anything I’ve heard in that genre for years. Oh, and he’s a wee cutie too.

Name one thing still on your bucket list

To write a book. It’s so much hard work but with that would come great rewards – just knowing that you completed the challenge would be enough.

Do you have a favourite mug? Explain why you love it

I have many, because I always buy one from a new place that I visit as a memento and when I drink from them, I can reminisce. The most recent addition was a leaving gift from my previous team, which has the Formula 1 Schedule on for 2025 wrapped around it. I think they all got sick of me asking where and when the next races will be.

If you were forced to watch reruns of a favourite show, which would you choose?

Friends or Frasier. I love both. Frasier is so well put together and hilarious, the one-liners are just brilliant. Friends has been a part of my life since I can remember, it always feels like home when it’s on my TV. If I was being greedy, I’d also have to add The Vicar of Dibley – pure genius of British comedy.

Perfect health.

If you could have any talent, what would it be and why?

To sing. I think it’s a such a wonderful form of self-expression!

Sales Director. Managing the whole sales operation for the business with selling my share of new business being a huge part of the role. I also contribute to the overall strategic planning for the business.

The title of content manager encompasses more than you might predict. In practice, it involves collaborating with a small and skilled pool of freelance writers to deliver the copywriting required by Aqueous Digital’s growing list of customers. That could include commissioning, writing, editing, mentoring and negotiating – a load of –ings, basically.

A journalist, so dreams really do come true. Either that, or I didn’t dream big enough!

I wish I could DJ. I’d just love to know how it feels to get a room full of people to respond to the music you love with infinite smiles and positive energy.

Chief Commercial Officer I see the future of the business needs from an operational and sales perspective. I am also very passionate about employees health and wellbeing in the workplace.

I am a Technical Lead at Aqueous Digital, where I’m involved in mentoring new team members, improving workflow and devising new content and link building strategies for our customers. I specialise in Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and Pay Per Click (PPC) campaigns and ensure that our customers’ websites drive business and are optimised for the best overall user experience.
