What is your role at Aqueous and what does that involve on a day-to-day basis?
Director of Sales Operations.
I see the future of the business needs from an operational and sales perspective. I am also very passionate about employees health and wellbeing in the workplace.
Tell us a bit about yourself?
I have over 30 years experience in sales, marketing and advertising. I also run two other businesses, an acupuncture clinic and an online safe space membership for menopausal ladies “The Menopausal Godmother”, that was created during lockdown.
What do you do for fun outside of work?
Jonathan Guy and I have a little caravan in North Wales. We call it our happy place or escape hatch. It sits in between the sea and the Snowdonia mountains. We absolutely love it there, it helps us relax, have fun and reconnect with nature as we love to go for walks.
Who inspires you and why?
Michelle Obama – I love her energy and her disciplines in life. A true role model. I was once in the same magazine as her. The story was about strong women in business (my claim to fame). Very proud to sit alongside her with my story.
What’s the best thing about working at Aqueous?
All of the team. I love watching each of you grow with training and development every day.
Are there any interesting facts about you people might not be aware of?
My Grandmother always said you should help others and volunteer. So I did five years as a Special Constable in Cheshire Police and 10 years as a local Parish Councillor. I am also finishing writing a book on the menopause and how acupuncture can help with symptoms.
