Having overcome global economic and social challenges in recent years, the entire team at Aqueous Digital couldn’t be prouder to have been shortlisted for not one, but two UK Search Awards in 2023; the Best Small SEO Agency and the Best Low Budget Campaign (SEO) (Small).
More than just a business concentrating on increasing profit at all costs, the core values of trust, loyalty, and collaboration are at the heart of everything we do and have proven to be instrumental to both our own success and that of our valued customers.
For more than a decade since the Cheshire-based digital marketing agency was founded by Jonathan Guy and his wife, Emma, we’ve been supporting customers across the UK with both paid search and organic SEO, reputation management, and content strategy creation services.
Being shortlisted for the Best Small SEO Agency is especially close to our heart at Aqueous Digital because we’ve always aimed to set ourselves apart from rival agencies that over-promise, mislead customers, and spread unfounded myths.
By concentrating on building strong customer relationships and creating campaigns that not only deliver real, measurable results but also align with our customer’s goals, our agency stands out from the crowd.
Some of our core achievements as a company include smashing our £1million turnover target in 2022, as well as significantly increasing our customer retention and doubling our sales over the past three years.
This growth is also reflected in the size of our team, which was composed of just six people in 2018, but has now grown to 25. It is now composed of a sales and marketing departments, numerous SEO account managers, copywriters, apprentices, and many more crucial positions.
Regardless of budget, we always aim to deliver big SEO results. This is why we’re equally proud to be shortlisted for Best Low Budget Campaign (SEO) (Small) award for our work with Markson Pianos.
Specialising in piano services, we began our professional relationship with this London-based family business in 2013.
Our initial campaign aimed to grow its online presence by improving keyword rankings.
To achieve that goal, we carried out updated keyword research, created a comprehensive content strategy, implemented an interlinking strategy for new content, improved the website’s user experience, and completed a variety of technical SEO improvements.
Aqueous Digital’s Managing Director, Jonathan, explains:
“While every agency like ours wants to deliver results for its customers, at Aqueous we strive to do so with a values-led approach.
“When judges for awards recognise that, it is a source of pride for the team. Not only that, but we also want everybody that works here to feel that they can contribute to achieving our objectives – whether that’s for a particular customer, or the business as a whole – in an environment that supports their own development as an individual.
“It also gives us enormous pleasure when a long-term collaboration like the one we’ve enjoyed with Markson Pianos bears fruit. After all, that’s the crystallisation of the trust and loyalty we attempt to represent every day, and we’re thrilled that’s led to success for them.”
Winning a UK Search Award would provide high-profile recognition for every member of the Aqueous Digital team.
