Sometimes, it’s important to remember exactly why we all do this job. Too often we are guilty of simply getting into the office, getting our heads down and working through the day to make sure that our customers are getting the prominence they need on Google.
There have even been times when we’ve had to remind people to stop and eat lunch!
It’s very easy to get engrossed in the work we do, which is often complex and requires great concentration.
So, every now and again we like to stop for a minute, take the team out of the office and remind them what daylight actually looks like!
Earlier this week we did just that and we went to The Partridge at Tarporley Road, Stretton to see what it was like following a refurbishment.
We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the great service from the team there and a great lunch was enjoyed by all.
The celebration was to recognise that in the last couple of months we’ve not only won the Marketing Excellence Award at the Halton Business Awards, but it was also our sixth birthday.
What a journey.
From a tiny office here at The Heath with just two of us to the team you can now see in the picture, it seems like only five minutes since we set up with nothing more than a laptop, some good ideas and an inspiration to do something different.
And so onwards and upwards. The next milestone will be the addition of another technical head into the business (we are recruiting so if you are good and want to help us build something special, apply here…) after which we will be running out of office space, so another move will be on the cards.
It’s so fast paced and such a buzz helping customers every day that sometimes it’s hard to remember that we need to recognise the hard work we do.
But days like this are our time to reflect and celebrate. A huge ‘thank you’ to all the team who have helped make Aqueous a success and here’s to the next chapter in the adventure!
